There is no minimum order quantity. You can order from as little as one meter to test a design, colour or fabric type before committing to a larger production run. This is particularly useful for designers developing new collections, brands testing fabric quality, or creators who want to verify colour accuracy before scaling. Volume discounts apply automatically from 5 meters, up to 35% off at 50+ meters.

Yes. You can upload any original artwork, pattern, illustration, or photographic design. We accept PNG, JPG, TIFF, PDF, AI and PSD files. For the best print result, supply your file at 300 DPI at the intended print size. If you’re designing a seamless repeat pattern, ensure your tile matches edge to edge so the pattern flows seamlessly across the full fabric width. Our team reviews every file before printing and will flag any issues in advance.

We offer printing on more than 20 fabric types including cotton, organic cotton, jersey, French Terry, babyrib, viscose, poplin, canvas, linen cotton, waffle, and polyester-based performance fabrics. Each fabric is available to view on our Fabric Specification page, where you can see weight, composition, width and recommended uses. If you need a fabric that’s not in our standard range, we can source specialty bases on request from a minimum of 30–50 meters.

We accept PNG, JPG, TIFF, PDF, AI and PSD files. The maximum upload size is 25 MB per file. For very large or multi-layer files, or for projects requiring colour profile conversion, please contact us directly at info@familyfabrics.nl and we can advise the best approach. We can also assist with basic file preparation, such as resolution adjustments and colour profile conversion, if needed.

Standard orders are printed and dispatched within 2–5 working days from our studio in the Netherlands. We produce from Monday to Wednesday and Fridays. For larger production runs, lead times may be slightly longer and we will confirm an estimated dispatch date when you place your order. If you have a deadline, contact us — we also offer an express service that can dispatch within 24 hours for in-stock fabrics.

Yes. We work with brands that require white-label production — meaning your fabric is produced and delivered without Family Fabrics branding. We also support private label arrangements for brands looking to develop exclusive fabric designs under their own label. Yes. We ship across Europe and internationally. EU orders are dispatched via DHL or DPD with full tracking included. Non-EU destinations use UPS or PostNL. Most European countries receive orders within 3–7 working days after dispatch. All orders come with a tracking link so you can follow your fabric from our studio to your door. VAT is included for EU orders; non-EU customers are exempt from VAT but may be subject to import duties in their country.
