What is a custom printed sherpa blanket?
A custom sherpa blanket is a soft fleece blanket with a printed design on the front and a warm, wool-like sherpa backing on the reverse. The result is a product that is visually striking, cosy and durable.
At Family Fabrics, we produce custom printed blankets for brands, designers, and creators who want high-quality textile products with their own design. We use sublimation printing — a process where the ink fuses directly into the fabric fibres, ensuring vivid colour that will never peel, crack or fade.

Send us your artwork file. We accept JPG, PNG, PDF and AI at minimum 150 DPI.
Choose size & specs
Select 120×150 cm or 150×200 cm. Tell us your quantity and any special requirements.
We print & produce
Your blanket is printed at our Dutch studio. We check every order before dispatch.
Delivered to you
Dispatched within 2–5 working days. Tracked delivery across Europe and beyond.
Design guidelines
Preparing your file for best results
300 DPI at print size is recommended. Minimum 150 DPI. Low-resolution files will appear blurry when printed large.
RGB files are preferred for sublimation printing. CMYK is accepted but colours may shift slightly during conversion.
For full-coverage designs, use a seamless tile. We print your file as supplied — tiles should match edge to edge.
We accept JPG, PNG, PDF and AI. Maximum file size is 25 MB. Contact us for larger files or multi-layer designs.

Frequently asked questions
Yes, absolutely. We support small batch production and single-unit sampling with no minimum order requirement. In fact, we strongly recommend ordering a sample before committing to a larger production run. This allows you to verify the print quality, colour accuracy and fabric feel before scaling up. Once you approve the sample, scaling your order is fast and straightforward.
Yes — both are fully supported. Photographic images, illustrations, brand logos and seamless repeat patterns all work well with sublimation printing on our sherpa blankets. For the best result, photographic images should be high-resolution (300 DPI recommended). For repeat patterns, we suggest designing a seamless tile so the pattern flows naturally across the full blanket without visible seams or breaks.
There is no strict minimum. You can order a single blanket at the standard price. Volume discounts apply automatically from 5 units onwards — up to 35% off for orders of 50 or more. For large production runs or bespoke B2B arrangements, contact us directly at info@familyfabrics.nl and we will provide a tailored quote based on your quantities and delivery requirements.
Standard orders are produced and dispatched within 2–5 working days from our studio in the Netherlands. For larger production runs, production time may vary depending on quantity — we will confirm a lead time when you place your order. We also offer an express service where, once fabric and materials are confirmed in stock, we can dispatch within 24 hours. Contact us if you have a deadline and we will do our best to accommodate it.
Yes. We offer white-label delivery for brands that want to ship to their customers without Family Fabrics branding on the package or product. This is particularly popular with lifestyle brands, gift companies and Etsy sellers who want to present a seamless brand experience. Custom labels, tags and packaging inserts can also be discussed for larger orders. Contact us at info@familyfabrics.nl to discuss your requirements.
Yes. We ship across Europe and internationally. EU orders are dispatched via DHL or DPD with full tracking. For non-EU destinations we use UPS or PostNL. Delivery times depend on the destination, but most European countries receive orders within 3–7 working days after dispatch. All orders include a tracking link so you can follow your shipment from our studio to your door.
