How to hang your wallpaper
Non-woven is the easiest wallpaper type to hang. No soaking, no table — just paste the wall and place the strip.
Prepare the wall
Make sure the wall is clean, dry and smooth. Fill cracks, sand bumps, and apply primer if the wall is very porous or freshly plastered.
Measure & mark
Use a spirit level to draw a vertical guide line on the wall. Start at a corner. Each strip is 50 cm wide — mark the next strip position as you go.
Paste to wall
Apply wallpaper paste evenly to the wall for one strip width. Place the strip from top to bottom, smoothing from the centre outward with a wallpaper brush or sponge.
Trim & finish
Use a straight edge and sharp knife to trim at ceiling and skirting board. Wipe away excess paste immediately with a damp cloth. Butt-join each strip — no overlap needed.

Our wallpaper is printed on 180g high-quality non-woven — the preferred material of professional interior designers. It’s dimensionally stable (it doesn’t stretch or shrink when wet), easy to work with, and the result is beautifully smooth on the wall.
Family Fabrics designs — printed in Joure
Every design is printed in-house on our Reggiani digital printer — the same machine we use for our premium fabrics. This means rich, saturated colour, precise detail, and a consistency that cheap print-on-demand services can’t match.
Seamless patterns
All our wallpaper designs are built to be seamless. The strips butt-join perfectly — no pattern repeat calculation, no wasted material cutting to match. What you see is what you get.
Sustainable materials
The non-woven base is made from sustainably sourced wood fibres. We print with water-based inks that are free from harmful solvents.
Cleaning & maintenance
Non-woven wallpaper is wipeable. Clean gently with a slightly damp cloth if needed. Do not scrub, use abrasive cleaners, or apply steam directly to the surface.
Moisture
Non-woven is more moisture-resistant than paper wallpaper, but it is not waterproof. Avoid use in areas with direct water contact (e.g. inside a shower). Suitable for bathrooms with good ventilation.
Longevity
With normal care, non-woven wallpaper will last many years. Avoid direct prolonged sunlight on the surface, which may cause gradual fading over time.
Production & dispatch
Wallpaper is printed on demand and dispatched within 3–7 working days from our studio in Joure, Netherlands.
Packaging
Strips are rolled and shipped in a protective cardboard tube to prevent creasing or damage in transit.

VAT
All prices include Dutch VAT. Business customers with a valid EU VAT number can have VAT removed at checkout.
No returns on printed wallpaper
Because every roll is printed on demand especially for your order, we are unable to accept returns. Custom-printed wallpaper cannot be restocked once produced.

Defect or damage?
Contact us within 30 days of delivery with your order number and clear photos of the issue. We will respond within 2 working days and arrange a replacement at no cost.
